THE STORY OF FREYA
When thinking of the word "rotisserie," most people associate it with slow-cooked chicken. Marjoram Cuisine's unique grill has not only the capacity to slow-cook chicken on the five-shelf carousel rotisserie, but it also has three additional cooking surfaces. Including open-flame grill, low temp oven, and propane burners.
Chef Mari acquired the grill from Screen Door on James Island, where she worked in 2015. She was a part of the restaurant opening and cooked on the Santa Maria-style grill until the head chef removed it from the kitchen. She loved it so much and couldn't bear to see it rust away in the parking lot. So, after four years of sitting, she bought it, restored it, and made it into a mobile unit! Now, she is taking the backyard BBQ to the next level! Her name is Freya, and she's the star of the show.
