We want you to be confident in

Marjoram Cuisine’s abilities to serve you and your family.

Please read and sign the document below…

What We Do

Marjoram Cuisine was built on the idea that the whole family should be able to enjoy the party and create memories together and not worry about what’s going on in the kitchen. Inclusivity is a core value, where we ensure each member of the party has something they can eat. Allergies and restrictions are welcomed. Together, we will create the perfect menu to match the theme or occasion of the event. Brunch, lunch and dinner- we’re here to help.

Allergies/Restrictions:

If you or someone in the party has a severe food allergy,  please inform the Chef during the menu development stage. Marjoram Cuisine uses a shared prep kitchen and is not 100% celiac safe, but is sanitized frequently and items can be made gluten free.

Menu Changes:

Planning for any size event takes time. Last minute changes can most likely be accommodated, but not always realistic. Once the deposit is made, the menu will then be locked in and things are in motion. Thank you for understanding.

**Consuming raw or undercooked meats, poultry,

seafood, shellfish, or eggs may increase your risk of foodborne illness, especially

if you have certain medical conditions.**

Deposits:

To secure your date on our calendar, a non-refundable deposit of at least 50% of the total bill will be due upon agreement of all menu details from both Chef and client.

Chef + Service Fees:

There are many “behind the scenes” hours that are spent to ensure you get the best possible service for you and your family. This is an accumulation of all of the energy that goes into curating your event. From creating the personalized menus, administrative work, shopping, preparation at the commissary kitchen, packaging, shipping/delivering to the event space, cooking on-site, additional hired help (if needed), clean up and driving time back to the shop to reset after the event. It is a large production for just one party! And we love every minute of it. Fees vary based on event details.

Credit Card Processing Fee:

A 4% fee will be added to each payment made via credit or debit card-based payment methods (i.e. square and Paypal). This fee covers the costs incurred by the service provider for processing individual payments through credit card networks. Each time we swipe your card, it’s a 4% fee.

Gratuity:

is NOT included in your quoted price. If you wish to give the gift of gratuity, please consider tipping on the total balance and not just the remaining balance. Thank you for your love and support for our team who are working your event!

Final Payments:

The remaining balance should be paid the day of the event or when the final invoice is sent over. You will have seven days upon completion of the event to make the payment with no penalty.

  • A $20 per day fee will be added after that until the total invoice is paid.

  • If the balance is not paid within 30 days after services have been completed, The late fee will be $600.

  • Further legal action will be taken after 30 days.

48-72 hours before the event:

Our team will contact you to check in for any last minute final details. Such as cooler rentals, kitchen set up, indoor/outdoor venue space details, etc. Any additional items, labor, or services added on from this phone call will affect the final balance due on your invoice. Menus cannot be changed at this time.

Day of event:

If Marjoram Cuisine will be using your personal kitchen, please help us by clearing the counter and allow room in the refrigerator for possible leftovers. We want to ensure that we give you the best possible service within our given time frame in your home. We will change the trash when needed, sweep and wipe down all counters before leaving.

Yacht or Boat Deliveries:

Marjoram Cuisine will add an additional $20 fee for any deliveries to the dock.

Anti-inflammatory and AIP meal prep:

The services provided by Marjoram Cuisine are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition.

  • We are not certified nutritionists, dietitians, or medical professionals.

Cancellations:

We understand that situations arise that require you to cancel your event…

- If you must cancel your event less than 30 days before the date, there will be no refunds of any kind back to the client. This is because labor, admin, and purchasing of groceries have already happened. Marjoram Cuisine will most likely not be able to book another party on such short notice. We appreciate your understanding.

  • A $50 admin fee will be added to reschedule the date.

  • If the event is canceled a second time, there will be an additional fee of 20% of the original chef fee.

  • There are no guarantees for rescheduling a third time, but we will do our best. A 10% charge of the most current chef fee will be added to compensate Marjoram Cuisine.

  • A cancellation due to weather related incidents will result in a no refund.
